When your October is dried up but not the good, pretty kind

We had the hottest day since the summer of 2016 here in Charlotte just two days ago.

In OCTOBER.

October is always a month packed full of events and to dos, but at least we're normally rewarded with cooler weather. Not this year.

And for some reason, even though I'm really vocal about summer being my favorite season, even I'm ready for change and this weather has made me weary.

In reality, I'm blaming the annoying weather but I think it just emphasizes how I'm already feeling; tired, hurried and all booked up.

I started reading Rhythms of Renewal by Rebekah Lyons and I had a lightbulb moment just by the way it's organized.
