Hi
I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I hope you are gearing up for a fun New Year celebration.
I wanted to pop in your inbox between holidays so I could be sure and catch you before you pack up your holiday decor.
There is one no-brainer practice that has changed my feelings about opening up those Christmas bins every year come Christmastime. It has made my Christmas decorating fun, and less of a burden.
It only works if you start the year before---which lucky you, is right now.
This is the BEST time of the year to make an informed decision about what you need for holiday decorating next year. Do not put this off until next year when you open those storage bins--you won't remember what you truly like to use in you home.
Here's my best tip:
Before you pack anything away that's on display from this year, open up your holiday bins or boxes and check out your holiday storage areas and see if there's any random decor that you didn't use this year.
If you are like me, you might have more holiday decor still stored, than actually on display.
Next, get rid of anything you didn't use this year.
Yep, all that stuff has been taking up space, stored away in your home for at least a year, without being used or enjoyed? Let's not allow it to take up valuable space again this year.
Consider it a gift to your future, intentional self.
