You Don't Have to Start Over

I went to Target two days ago and after seeing the new Opal House Collection I decided I needed to burn down my house and start over.

Sometimes when I start to feel like my house is all wrong, I remind myself of my goal and what I truly believe, what WE truly believe, when it comes to home...

We believe that home exists to serve people, not the other way around.

We believe that it doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.

We believe that it doesn’t have to be cluttered to be cozy.

We believe that it doesn’t have to be modern to be minimal.

We believe we truly can have more style with less stuff.

With that in mind, I did end up buying one small item from the Opal House Collection that I knew would make a fresh impact in my home without filling it up with stuff. I didn't have to have everything, sometimes just focusing on one small, do-able change can make a big difference.

I bought this table runner, I love using runners in different ways around the house (post coming soon) and I already have a fall/wintery runner and thought this one would be fitting for the other half of the year for a more springy/summery feel.
